30m3/H multi media filter stainless steel quartz sand activated carbon mechanical filter

A Multi-‐Media Filter is used to reduce the level of suspended solids (turbidity) in incoming feed water. Suspended solids consist of small particles such as silt, clay, grit, organic matter, algae and other microorganisms.
Advantages of multi-media filters
Multi-media filtration permits delivery of high quality filtered water at much faster flow rates, as compared to a conventional sand filter. In a conventional sand filter, lighter and finer sand particles are found at the top of the filter bed, and coarser, heavier sand particles remain at the bottom after backwashing.

Quartz sand filter

It is a filter material with quartz sand as filler. Which is conducive to removing impurities in water.

It also has the advantages of small filtration resistance, large specific surface area, strong acid and alkali resistance, and good pollution resistance. The unique advantage of quartz sand filter is that it realizes the adaptive operation of the filter by optimizing the design of filter material and filter. The filter material has strong adaptability to the raw water concentration, operating conditions and pretreatment process.

The sand filter can effectively remove the suspended solids in the water and remove the colloid, iron, organic matter, pesticides, manganese, bacteria, viruses and other pollutants in the water. It has the advantages of high filtration speed, high filtration precision and large sewage interception capacity.

Activated carbon filter

It is a commonly used water treatment equipment. As the pretreatment of the water treatment desalination system, it can absorb the residual chlorine that cannot be removed in the previous stage filtration, effectively ensure the service life of the later stage equipment, improve the effluent quality, and prevent pollution, especially the free residual oxygen poisoning pollution of the later stage reverse osmosis membrane and ion exchange resin.

At the same time, it also adsorbs small molecular organic substances and other polluting substances leaked from the previous stage, and has obvious adsorption and removal effects on odor, colloid, pigment and heavy metal ions in water, and also has the effect of reducing COD.The SDI value of RO inlet water can be further reduced to ensure SDI < 5 and TOC < 2.oppm.
